Dr. Martin Kennedy
Dr. Martin Kennedy is a Board-Certified Veterinary AnesthesiologistTM on our team at Montana Pet Dentist and Oral Surgery. Dr. Kennedy attended Cornell University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, and the University of Wisconsin where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Following his graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Kennedy completed a rotating internship at the University of Minnesota, and a residency in Anesthesia & Pain Management at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Kennedy then joined a busy multi-specialty referral practice in Cincinnati, heading the anesthesia service until December 2019. He then worked at the University of Minnesota as an associate professor of anesthesia & pain medicine prior to joining Animal Dental Care & Oral Surgery. He has particular interests in total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA), the management of high risk patients, multimodal pain control, and teaching all things veterinary anesthesia.
